... was awesome and we had a great night checking out the sights while the girls drank margaritas and cocktails out of massive cups shaped like a womens figure! We awoke in Vegas on the 6th which was our wedding anniversary. We spent most of the day wandering the strip with some friends from the tour before having some lunch and an early afternoon drink. Happy Canada Day to all those Canucks in SF!

This trip covered both July 1 - Canada Day and July 4 - Independence Day.

T had gotten me to the YEG Canada Day fireworks in 2012 before he left and I hadn't stayed long enough for the 2013 Fourth of July celebrations.

So I was curious to experience the USA highly patriotic version.

... of ducks and winged rats (pigeons). We passed by a choir singing gospel hymns, I had to laugh at one girl in the front row as she looked like she wanted to be any where else but singing in the park. There was a Japanese garden but admission was $7 so that was a no. We have both been to Japan so have seen the real thing so the $7 couldn't be warranted.

After the park we get on a bus to head back down town. I check out some of the shops and we try to ...
