... There are a lot of squirrels running around. We then headed to Grand Central Station which is amazing. There are lots of shops and it huge. We are going on a trip to Washington on Tuesday which leaves from outside this station so we wanted to check it out ahead of time as we are leaving at 7 am. We headed home via the market to pick up supplies.... A pretty exhausting ...

... just didn't quite get a lot of it.... I suppose that is the nature of art. I did love the Monet gallery and quite a bit of the Picasso stuff. There was lots of other famous pieces too by Warhol and Van Gogh.... We tossed up whether to do something else after the gallery or to come home... 6 secs outside convinced us to come home and do the washing! It reached a maximum of -1c ...

I had a bit of a walk around the garment district but nothing much was going on there. Then had a look at Bryant Park where New York fashion week is held. Onto find Parsons School of design also where Project Runway is filmed.

... about getting another iPad so had a look at those too. Decided that an iPad mini would be perfect. The whole process of purchasing was bloody fascinating. The guy who served us had an iPhone which he could scan our stuff with then he swiped my card in the side of it, I then had to sign the screen with my finger! A receipt then came out under the bench. All this was done right at the counter where we'd been playing with the demo model. Classic!
