Set off to get to our next destination and close another circle. John O'Groats to Land's End.
First went to The Lizard, the most southerly point in mainland England and less well known. Old life boat station from the 1800s and spectacular cliffs.
Then to Land's End, the most westerly point on the UK mainland, to close another circle. ...
... observation was the number of people walking dogs on the beach of golden sand and the golf course surrounds.
The afternoon was spent in front of the telly with Dad watching the All Blacks beating the English, nerve wracking but pride salvaged in the end. In the evening we watched the annual British Legion (RSA) concert from the Albert Hall commemorating the soldiers of both World Wars and the more recent campaigns including Afganistan and many of the surviving ...
... to say all of our goodbyes to family and friends but i'm sure it wont be long before we see you all again ��
We are now at a campsite in Poole for a couple of nights before the grand depart on Saturday morning......feeling chilled with a glass of wine and wondering what the next few months have in store for us.

We pulled up in the lay-by specifically reserved for acquiring change for the toll and scampered to the bridge for a few photos. Naughty. Then it was over the bridge paying our one puns toll to the next stop at Bath, or more specifically the Pump Rooms, Bath. We don't really have time to actually walk round these places and we certainly don't have the budget to pay entry fees, so to visit Bath ...
... town as this is where the tv show Doc Martin is filmed. So having worked out how to use the gps, we were following it until it started leading us down some very narrow, steep and winding roads. Once we finally got there it looked like you had to park at the top of the road and walk 1km down into the village. As we were running late and it was pouring with rain we decided to head off.
