... the GPS which i had only used once before and that was to get from Kal to Fraser Range. This was serious stuff and i made no less than 5 stops to re set it so it wouldn't keep taking me back to Clare. Two hours later I arrived at my cousins place. It should have taken an hour. So I've missed 3 months of travel up dates. Ended in Mauritius on 27 December then was back in UK for 17 nights which was good but very hectic. Flew to Melbourne on 15th January and stayed with fantastic friends where we have spent a weekend in Sydney and I have been shown round Melbourne and treated to many lovely places. So with some crafty mapping skills and well finding the perfect trailer towing family to ask we landed a perfect spot in the middle of the woods all to ourselves... well until the family that pointed us in the right direction joined. Back at our camping site we raised our glasses with our neighbour who is from Queensland. We enjoyed the wonderful afternoon.
Then it was phoning family and friends and whishing them merry x-mas.
All in all a very good and relaxing day.
