... again after what feels like weeks of hibernation. I’m not sure how we ever coped in the UK looking back, the winter here feels like its lasted about eight weeks max, back home it felt like it lasted eight months!

Now may also be a good time to talk finances for anyone considering the cost of traveling Australia. I keep a casual running total and looking ahead I think we will have spent roughly $12000 in 500 days on the road. That could ...

... By suggestion of Jacqui, Xavier Rudds - Spirit Bird. Awesome and truely Ozzy. Will never forget cruising into the sunset on the ocean road to Melbourne to "Follow the sun!" Well, and how could I not get addicted to Pharrel Williams - "Happy" when it was played everywhere. Totally felt like a room without a roof in this country ;) And in memory of rainbow serpent. After days of party and beats a quiet song filled the air as a goodbye on main stage Chvrches - lies goosebumps ...

... and enjoyed a BBQ together (our BBQ consisted of pasta sauce and cheese due to missing the supermarket!) Thanks Maggie and Kevin for the washing powder, teas and Myki Cards (equivalent to London's Oyster Card) - every little helps when you are travelling on a shoestring budget! The Levi Caravan Park had lots of friendly and welcoming staff and long term residents (retired Australian couples who had sold up their homes and were now on an ongoing trip). ...
