... and in many cases they die quickly of overstress by committing "suicide" (oooh!).

Found in many parts of the world years ago, they’re now confined to the islands of Southeast Asia, with none found on mainland Asia any longer. The Philippine tarsier is endemic to the southern Philippine islands of Bohol, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao, occupying mainly forests and bush thickets, sometimes also in mangrove forest.
