... hopping around in the Boa's cage. We lounged around the pool a while and then Jer and kids and took out the two little plastic kayaks for a little paddle out around the mangroves to some craggy little islands and a tiny little beach for a swim. It was getting dark though, so we retreated to the hotel, and a relaxing evening. The owners of the resort are away, so it is being run by some less experienced employees. They are very nice and helpful, but dinner ...

... My first trip with Philippine Airlines. A nice enough experience. Arrival was pretty much on-time and i was at the Info-Counter in Arrivals after just about 10 minutes. I asked where i could find Hertz. The Lady looked at me as if i asked her where i could find my Rent-A-Spaceship. :-)  Apparently, Hertz has no station at the Airport. A Taxi drove me to them. Mariott-Hotel in Cebu City. 1(one) hour drive from the Airport and the opposite way i needed to go for my Hotel.

... best time to be on the jeepneys because it’s dark dark dark. That was the main gist of the police briefing, accompanied by the best Power point presentation I have ever seen, featuring moving police figures that skirted the edge of the map of Cebu like Pacman. Legendary. Lunch, packing and then a Cebu City tour / practice for our Community Welcome Event “surprise number” - not our greatest musical triumph. We arrived at YOU, the gloriously named café: Your Own ...
