... Ingleby Cross. This we managed to do in only 8hrs 30min due to it being almost dead flat across the broad valley of the River Swale. Luckily there has been little rain so the paths were dry through paddocks of dairy cattle and sheep, then Lucerne and barley. Go up to a gorgeous day again, breakfast done and dusted we decided it was a walk around Lake Buttermere today. Howard drove (to far to walk), drove through some lovely passes, one being Via Ferrata, Where mad people people hang of the cliff face and walk along, ( go google it and you'll see what I mean!) we were going to have a go but unfortunately it was too busy ;-) made our way to the car parks ...

... sweet shop not the dog shop!) Then it was back to the site up the bloody great hill for a well earn't beer and shower. Tea of French pizza and fried French potato cubes ( blooming delicious). Spent the rest of the evening sat outside the van chatting with Deb n Howard, using Miss Meg as a hot water bottle, no clouds tonight so had got a tad chilly. Lots of Ooooo do you remember this place in Wigan tonight, but all in all a lovely evening. Off on another walk tomorrow. ...
