St. John Lutheran Church - Ocala, FL This Sunday morning started out like any other Sunday morning, except that Bailey, Rachel, Sydney, and Audrey were with us. ... California to 43 in Grand Canyon Arizona. We drove through some of the densest populations in Los Angeles to some of the sparest in South Dakota. We saw urban cowboys in Nashville and real cowboys in Wyoming. We saw one of the greatest creations of man at Mt Rushmore and perhaps natures greatest creation at the Grand Canyon. We saw the power of one man's vision at the Reagan Library and sadly, the power of a collective lack of vision in the Native American Territories of Arizona ...

He maintained and repaired the coach, pumped gallons upon gallons of fuel, set-up & took down the coach umpteen times, waited patiently for me while I would wander through gift shops, and always kissed me goodnight. He was my perfect companion. I am eternally grateful that he Blessed me with this trip and I am also Blessed to have shared this adventure with him. He's a God Thing!

After lunch and a brief nap, interrupted by Mary, Judy's assistant, to see how we wanted to handle the remarks in Lon's report, Richard golfed at Walnut Grove - a Nancy Lopez course. I dropped him off and picked him up so I could use the car for some shopping - a visit to the consignment store, Walmart and Publix.

... in dog stride--surviving without "Mom and Dad" and traveling from house to house when needed.
