... and a concert by the Salonorchester Alt Wien. Dinner was delicious with great service and I even managed to order in German - tee mit milch ;-).
For some reason they offered us seats up the front to the side of the stage, we felt like we were in the royal box. I like to see what the performers are doing so being close was great. Percussion is my favourite section of the orchestra which is why I was watching ...
... bit of drama with Sarah and a couple of creepy Turkish stalkers. We also had Scott the Aussie bloke always taking the ****, Nick the Canadian paramedic, and finally a local stranger we named Arnold. My main group consisted of Scott, the good Canadians, an American couple, and the great Augustus (when he wasn’t disappearing). Of course in a hostel people are always coming and going but we managed to stick together for most of the time we were all there.

Had a weak coffee and Em got some hideous iced coffee concoction. I noticed the woman at the next table was eating some very sweet looking pastry and it was only 9.15. A bit much for me. Viennese certainly like their sweet things - a while later I noticed a workman in overalls eating a hideous pink looking thing with a very milky coffee. I cant imagine any Kiwi workman looking at ...
