      On to belgium!

      Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

      ... evening. We ended up being stranded in a town in the middle of Nowhere, Germany and ended up staying the night in an odd little inn. We got up early the next morning to catch a 6:30am train and were back on our way. After a full 24 hours of traveling, we finally reached our hostel and were able to check in to our rooms at long last. It was a total fluke of a stop and although we never intended to, we added a pin in our map somewhere in northern Germany.

      ... gates, then on another 1.5kms to our position on the inside of the circuit. Only problem was that 10,000 other people had arrived at same spot even EARLIER than us!

      We walked around the hill far enough to find a spot, just on the edge of a hill to set our chairs. With a tv screen directly in front, views down a straight, into a corner and then back across to the main straight and grandstands in the distance, we were quite pleased with our find!

      ... mega loud!! No rain today which was unusual for Spa but good for us. Just cold and breezy. Got to a maximum of 16 degrees but we were better dressed today. Drivers parade of top 10 which was a bit of a let down. Formula 1 started at 2pm. Exciting! Great race with Ricciardo again showing he has the goods. Go you good thing!       ... this slide, but luckily the food was very good, even with gluten free marked on the menu. All happy!

      The young waiter spoke very good English and was quite entertaining during our meals. Andy took the pork special, I opted for a chicken breast and salad. Our first meal in a few days not from a camp stove was very much appreciated and enjoyed.
