... The theme of dancing coopers shows up a lot in Munich. Not sure why, but apparently barrel makers know how to party! After the show, we jumped the subway to Flughafen (airport). Lines were long and slow at both check-in and security, but it was a good lesson in how Dad is always right to arrive early. Maybe now they won't make fun of ...

... Monet collection with painting from all over the world for this special exhibition- almost overwhelming ... we spent 5 hours enthralled at the wealth on hand - for 7 euros too... if the pictures upload you will see the damage to a new major European bank as a result of an Occupy wall-street type demonstrations. On to Munich!

We started the day in what was meant to be the most rowdy tent - hofbrau it was again sulking comps, beers, singing and because there was only four of us we wee able to perch on the end of a table which was great! We spent majority of the morning in the tent and around lunch time decided ...

... then passed the Protestant Cathedral of Berlin, which was rebuilt (in the 80's) much like most of the city. Next on the tour was Humboldt University which is where Einstein worked, along with many other key people. Right out in front of this university is actually the plaza where the book burning took place. It is crazy to hear about all this history in the exact place that it happened. Our tour guide, Polly, took us to Checkpoint Charlie which is not actually still a checkpoint but just ...
