    ... in saline frozen chicken breast which were probably from stewing hens. Dessert was a shot glass sized portion of some whipped substance with one quarter of a strawberry on top. No beverage other than tap water. Absolutely horrid. I am sure prisoners each a better meal than the one we obviously overpaid for.     Munich is a great city! We've been very lucky with the weather today as it's been sunny, with the temperature up to 13 degrees! This made for a great afternoon strolling around Marienplatz and the nearby streets. We saw some beautiful churches with St Michael's (baroque style) being my favourite, and no I'm not biased because of the name.

    Being today is Sunday we started slow, by way of the automobile. I had several addresses of pre-WW II bldgs that still have indications of the Third Reich. Not so many here in Munich because the Americans took over all the Government and Thrid Reich specific buildings, once we occupied the city.
