... hello and one beer please. We will have to come back and see Munich again and the rest of Deutschland it is well organized. Well after 1945 they had a clean sheet in a lot of their cities for planning and road layout.

There are a lot of bikes in this town which is nice to see and the bikes get right of way over everything except for the trams. You can see why they run the euro and bail everyone else out they are the most organized.

D-day has arrived!! After our yummy breakfast, we began our preparations to transform ourselves into true Bavarians! :-)Soon enough we were on our way to our first ever Oktoberfest. There of course was plenty of people making the same walk, we it's followed them all into the main area haha. It's only a 15min walk from our room, which makes it nice and easy. And then we arrived. ... visit during Octoberfest and 6.7 millions litres of beer is consumed during that time. An incredible amount of beer would be consumed through the year. I did see a few people passed out in unusual places that afternoon, they must have had a few too many kegs through the day haha. This morning after I checked out of the hostel I walked to the English Garden. It was lovely here. The park appears to be very natural but well kept. There is a beer garden (suprise ...

We travelled back to Munich through the back roads today. We had probably spent around three to four hours over the last few nights trying to book some form of accommodation in Munich but 97% of the rooms were booked and we weren't about to pay AUD $60 each for a bed in an 8 person dorm! A shopkeeper the day before at the monastery had said that it was like that all year round, so if any of you are planning a trip to Munich, book well in advance! So, in desperation, we had finally ...
