We traveled out of Amsterdam today by bus to Zaanse Schans. It was a very windy day in Amsterdam but when we arrived in Zaanse Schans it was super windy. If you are an owner of a windmill you are going to build it in a windy place. This is how Zaanse Schans became a very prominent community. ... The main course was either chicken, or a white fish. We started with a mustard soup, and finished with ice cream with berries. The fish was fried and covered with sauce which Carolyn didn't enjoy. ... the bus at just after 9am and found my way to the lecture theatre.

Lo and behold what was sat above the coat racks but my folder! Yay! Oh well it didn't even make it as far as the bus!
