... around till we decided to move to Jekyll Island. We were headed to the pier and as usual I ended up misdirecting everyone and ended up at Jekyll Island Club Hotel. This hotel has been a site for various Hollywood movies and is also a popular wedding destination.
We ended the day in Brunswick at Vikas's Friend house with some excellent Pani Puri and an African Stew.

... could have spent an entire day roaming around the grounds, but our time was running short so we cruised back to downtown Savannah to take a look at some of the amazing historic homes lining her streets. Its hard to decide which is the more beautiful city, Charleston or Savannah. We walked down to the riverfront and checked out a few shops and got some delicious praline ice cream before heading out of town. We will definitely be back ...
How has this hotel rated in the past?
My mom and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and cozy, and the staff were especially nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was especially good, offering a nice variety from which to choose. I was also pleased to have access to a DVD player in the room.
