... now. The bunch of people on this tour are really nice. And friendly. It feels like a big family. Most (if not all) are happy for me (and / or other people) to tag along, depending on who wants to see what. Because we don't have a huge amount of time we have rather strict time restrictions and because of that I don't want to get lost, especially on my own! The youngest is about 26 and the oldest about 70-75. We're mainly Aussies (26 or ...

We found out at the end of the trip that the captain we had and his wife actually owned the 3 boats that travel talk tours uses for their Croatia trips and the company that supplies the crew for the boats. One more night, hoping the journey to Venice isn't too bumpy given the grey weather, our cruise is sadly almost over..... We leave Croatia. Watching the latecomers from our room was both hilarious ...

At this point in our journey, we had to do some re-thinking...... When we picked up our rental car in Budapest, we were surprised to learn that the rental company would not cover insurance for travel in Bosnia. Some of our research had indicated this as a possibility but the info was dated. Despite the modern days of Internet and travel forums it is still difficult to get current, accurate info on Bosnia (as we come ...

... given to us and pretty much just prepared for our trip to Dubrovnik the next day.

We walked the couple of hundred metres over to the airport again and jumped in our flying pencil down to Dubrovnik. Flying into Dubrovnik is stunning... You can see the clearest blue seas as you fly in which got us very excited for sail Croatia. We had three nights in Dubrovnik of our own accord before jumping on the boat. One night was just Hannah and I and ...
