... soon realised would take a life time, so we tried to get back on to the main road towards Dubrovnik. I think it took just as long as the road connecting the coastal and main road was mountainous and long! It was scenic though. Camping places were harder to find nearer to Dubrovnik, but we found one, which was basic but by a nice little bay. Dubrovnik tomorrow...

... unfortunately the four hour journey actually took closer to five and a half hours. Bosnia has a really small sliver of coastline that is necessary to drive through between Split and Dubrovnik, so we had to go through the two border crossings (no stamps yet, but will be getting them soon) and then they also stopped at a restaurant for about half an hour while in Bosnia.

... we were in a dip, everything started to flood. Ian and Rory had to help shift furniture out from the basement as water was coming in. What a sight we were – 4 kiwis with loaded back packs, knee deep in water trying to escape the hostel to get a taxi to the bus station!!
