Staying at a hotel above the yacht marina and port which is huge and has some incredibly expensive and enormous yachts and motor launches, a lot of which are covered for winter. The population is about 80,000, and it's a big tourist spot for British people apparently, and obviously a prosperous and modern city.

... to hit my bunk, closing the blackout blinds and switching off my alarm clock to get a good days sleep.
