We are now moored up in Hemingford Grey where we used to live, ready for the Regatta later today. It is the oldest village regatta in the country and only residents of Hemingford Grey and Hemingford Abbots can take part in the rowing, canoeing or punt races. There are 170 - 180 races planned for all ages from 7 to 70, so it should be a great day, especially as the weather is playing it's part as well.
Great sleep, very comfortable bed. Up and breakfasted and away just after 9. Hosts were just lovely and their property gorgeous. We have done really well with all the places we have stayed.
