          ... The town was obviously a holiday destination as it was packed, but mainly with people on the beach and all sorts of water sports.           After lunch we went for a drive through nice rural roads to a well known garden centre and spacious garden set out by Harold Hillier in 1953 grandson of the founder of the business, Edwin Hillier, who bought the site in 1864 just 10 years after he founded Hillier Nurseries.
