... to a Rob Rive. Earlier we'd printed off a page from the Jersey telephone book with about twenty or so Rive names on it. We noticed when reading it the occurence of Zoe as a name , given our darling Zoe Rive. So what a coincidence to randomly meet a Zoe Rive. She said that there were three other Zoe Rives on the island.

... met two girls, Madie and Kristan, two australian girls who had been travelling through the UK and somehow ended up in Sark to work. Myself, Maddie, Kristan and Ben used to sit around making plans to travel together, from buying a campervan in Aus, to working in a ski resort in Canada.Oh and I should also mention that Kristan and Maddie were big drinkers, every time these conversations took place a bottle of vodka would appear ...

Well, it's that time of year again and we’re now preparing to leave 'our’ island for a couple of months. We hear that the weather has not been too kind, and we hope it’ll be better when we get there.
