Our house is about a ten minute walk from the Pier. It goes about 300 yards out into the ocean. On the pier one sees lots of tourists and locals, a few homeless people, fishermen, birds and at the very end a Ruby's diner.

They all had matching shirts, and unique identifiers on their backs (Annie's mom, Katie's brother, Annie's friend, etc) it was absolutely amazing. 10 am. After getting to the onramp for the I5. I started hitching again. After 15 minutes and many cars going by, a trucker saw me, beeped and pulled over.

He said he wasn't heading to San Diego, but could take me to Ocean Side. He was a very nice man, who's family lives in TJ ( Tijuana ), however he gets more money working in US, and returns once a month to see his family, wife an three kids. He works as a flower ...
