We are now finishing up our first week at the beach house.

Weather is sunny and about mid-teens. There is a cool breeze off the ocean otherwise it would be a lot warmer. During the day shirt sleeves are fine but in the evening a fleece is definitely in order.

Stellar dining room staff (we loved Elena!) and friendly cabin stewards. The ports of call did not interest us so we hung out on the ship enjoying the peace and quiet. Seasickness was kept to a minimum (thank you Lord!), although ...

... on the beach, cooking good food, and playing outdoors. Megan admitted it took longer than she expected, but I was so happy to see that they have gotten where they wanted to be, and feel confident that we can make it happen in Florida, too.

Highlights of our 10 days in Leucadia are:
-helping Matt and Megan move and get set up in their new apartment
-a day of surfing with Matt, Jonas, and Chris Uyeda in which we had fun ...
