... s mum and dad). Nice to finally meet the family who had adopted Beau and considered him one of theirs during a difficult time for him. Home to Toogoom for a few days. We went to Di's 50th bday party just for a short time, had a catch up with Mel and Bron. Drinks with Don and Helen, coffee with Doug and Elwyn, a few walks on the beach, a visit to the school and a catch up with some of the staff and kids, tidied the yard, and fixed a few things. ... it was like 86 degrees? Woops sorry people! We got to our hotel which happens to sit on top of Grand Central Station. We walked around and had some lunch down by the river. Not a big day but a long day. Brisbane is 3 hrs behind New Zealand. So a nap was totally warranted! Ok so maybe 2.5 hr nap was a bit much but hey this is the end of vaca! In the evening we walked to a restaurant that had gotten rave reviews on ...

The part without Catherine As it was my last week in Australia and I was in the one place for the whole time I decided to spend most of it trying not to spend too much money & getting myself a tan (both of which I achieved pretty well) So most of it was spent chilling out by the pool with a few exceptions. Monday night I walked over to the south bank and all the way along Brisbane ...
