The hostel we are staying in is pretty good, although it feels a bit like being back in Falaraki or somewhere at night - not sure if that's a good thing or not! Last night we had a hoot trying to make dinner. Basically there is one kitchen (it's massive, but still) for about 250 people, and everyone gets so angry when they cook (don't use my salt, someone nicked my knife, no-one's done the ...

... that I don’t like to plan to far ahead but at the moment next year looks like heading out to do three months regional work (harvesting) and get the tick in the box for a second working holiday visa and hopefully a big adventure at the end of 2010.

I know it’s been a while since my last update but this is two months worth of update so the next one will be around New Years. Other than that I will do my best to keep you all posted on any developments as they happen.

... first hundred days. Well we can assure you, after 8 days travelling with Ivo & Annemieke, that everything is OK. They still live on a pink cloud.

... guys Adam had met through his Arrow course, fabulous familles and had a great afternoon of lunch, wine and laughter. They both had 4 kids each, and so there were 10 kids under 10, but it wasn’t noisy at all. Most of the time the kids played with the hose outside (bizarre how you can play with water up here) and they spent a while trying to catch the chicken (tormenting them really). ... Air New Zealand…Must do better…Years ago I had the fantastic opportunity to visit the facilities where air new Zealand made all their own food…It was quite the tour. But what struck me back then was the care and interest all the staff had there in delivering the product. ... headache, sniffly nose. She vomitted all over the hallway10mins before the real estate agent came around to give us the bad news on how easy we could rent out our house. There was a lingering smell as we discussed our options. I am babysitting with her now watching a movie. Shall we be impounded with Swine Flu before we even get to the airport? ... and now that we have finished our adventure in Australia we look backwards with satisfaction to the 8000Km we drove around this huge country, the infinite number of spots Massimo has been surfing, the unique nature and the incredible animals we've been seeing and living with in the wild (the wallaby that spent the night with us at Glenelg national park will laways be in our hearts!) and we realise that yes, life is quite similiar to what we're ...

... the number plate of the hire car "WET 247" makes us wonder whether the hire company are running another sort of business on the side! The fun continues with Geoff's great bbq and a delicious tortilla made by Sarah's fair hand....and wine ......we are being treated so well! Our last Brisbane day is spent enjoying a slow breakfast followed by a swim at a local beach (Moreton bay). A sad goodbye after many laughs with good friends who live on the other side of the world .
