reorganized it to a longer stretch with some new vendors. It was more
appealing, I think. I did not buy anything, but did some wishful
thinking with my eyes. My bike home was easy and hot, but I was
eyeing a dark splotch of clouds on the horizon. It never did hit us,
but I was ready to race it home.

I did a bunch of banking and logistical
tasks, which felt oh so satisfying to tick off my 'to do' list. Then,

as they got fruit and veggies from one of the many produce stands.
The place was arranged in lanes, with a meat-fish-cheese area,
produce area, and then bakery-food-nuts-etc area. At the centre was a
courtyard with many little tables and a stage. A live musician with a

We woke up at around 5:30 in the morning to get ready to go to the airport. By the time that we got to the airport, it was around 7. By the we started to line up, it was around 8. We had to go through customs and line up in several lines. We are waiting to go to onto the plane at the ...

in a cordoned-off fig tree near the Main Enclosure. He gave people
        several false alarms.

        After scrubbing and chatting (time
passed so quickly!), it was lunch time. We had taken our morning tea
break after doing the rails. But, that was a sad time. Smiggins, the
13-year-old alpine dingo, was lead away on his final walk. Several of
the keepers watch with horribly sad expressions. A family of tourists
        waylaid him and Bec ...

... By 12 o'clock we have given up and realise I will have to try to get an emergency passport on Monday. It is Saturday. I also need a birth certificate and I lost that in a house fire years ago, so that is making it complicated. I have lots of other ID but need the birth cert.
Many, many phone calls later it appears I can get that certificate send directly to Australian Passport Office directly on Monday (I hope). To get the ...
