We are on a 600 mile run south to Florida. Prior to getting there we had to make a stop here in Brunswick, Georgia. There are a couple of reasons! Our travels north had brought us this way. During that trip we found a barbeque restaurant out on St Simons Island that I just couldn't stop thinking about. And, knowing that we would be driving right by it just didn't seem right!

... decide to leave....but we still aren't ready for it to end, so we went to Fort Frederica. In 1742, Spanish and British forces clashed on St. Simons Island. Fort Frederica's troops defeated the Spanish, ensuring Georgia's future as a British colony. See, we can learn a little something on vacation. :)

I guess its time to leave. So much fun. Time goes by so quickly ...

... 5 times. I think it was a student. We got to the marina walked out on the pier and saw about 5 dolphins swim by. Then we made our way to the boat dock where we got to see 3 stng rays swimming in the water. Headed back to the house...my turn to cook. We are having chicken alfredo and a greek salad.
