... get to the Eagles Nest 70 years ago. Our first stop were the bunkers that lied hundreds of feet into the mountain. I wish I could have taken pictures (not allowed to) but wow, the bunkers were massive. It took some serious manpower to create this underground city. Yes, you guessed it. We woke up early AGAIN to have breakfast at the hotel and take the car... Parking was free only until 9am!
