... of the city. Getting pretty good at these walking tours now. We wondered through the new into the old city. Past monuments and filming locations for the Julie Andrews classic. After being subjected to the movie on the bus to Salzburg, Billy proclaimed that it was the shittest movie he had seen and quickly vetoed any reference to the movie. Something tells me he's not really into his Doh-Rei-Me's. The castle that overlooked the city was stunning something out of Disney. ...

... the ski hire place in our little town and asked about hiring skis for me and a snowboard for Ben. It seems like its really cheap here it was only 12 euros to hire for half a day. There are plenty of little ski slopes around here with their own ski lifts which are apparently very cheap to use. There is no big ski resort in this area with lots of slopes, but it seems it will be good for us to pick it up again here because its not so steep. Hopefully we can do that ...

... amp; Bernhard for a day out to this gorgeous town, an hour away on the train, and the outing kicked off nicely when we walked out of the station and found a Gluwhein stall right in front of us, which set the tone for the rest of the day. ... the booked Mozart Dinner Concert at the St. Peter's Stiftskeller. Dinner and performance was held in the beautiful Barocksaal. Very enjoyable, the chamber orchestra (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello and double base) played very well, the two singers (soprano and baritone) where average. They played and sang arias and duets of Don Giovanni, La Nozze die Figaro and Die Zauberflöte. Food was good, wine ...
