This mornings first mission was gathering all our bits and packing them. Amazing how much things can spread when four kids have dig through to find their stuff.

Today was a loooong day in the car. We were really happy with the DVD player in the car as we left the B&B at 10:30 and arrived at 5:30, we had two brief stops, one for gas and one for food. Did I mention loooong???

The scenery was beautiful, rolling farmland, corn fields and many quintessential red barns.

Drove 100 miles in 2 hours.

      Summary

Woke up to a rainy day....third in a row. Feels like winter is coming in these parts already. Very easy scenic drive along the shores of Lake Superior to get into Duluth via Twin Ports.

Some amazing houses on the outskirts of town, located on the shore front. The lake itself is endless and may as well be an ocean.

      The downtown is a ...

Day 21/22: Duluth/ Jay Cooke State Park
We headed towards Duluth, Mn as Leon's university friend Hayley was running a half marathon (part of Grandma's marathon race series) and Leon, loving all opportunities to watch running, wanted to cheer her on.
I was really excited to discover that on the way was the opportunity to watch cheese being made. It was super cool to watch them gather the curds to be pressed into a mould, after all it combines two ...
