... castle where 'Entrapment' was filmed. I wanted to see it for this reason. The emphasis was more on the Macclean history within the castle, than Sean Connery or Catherine Zeta-Jones' appearances during the 1998 filming. Still very interesting tour.
By the time we had finished and were walking around the grounds near the water, the sun made a welcomed appearance!

... we reached Fionnphort it was pouring. There we found a surprise: we needed lots of coins to park our car, which we could not take on the little Iona ferry. As we counted them out, we feared we might miss the ferry, but we made it, and our next hostess, Sara, was waiting to pick us up after the short ride. At the end of a long day, we settled in with a comforting cup of hot tea.

Tom tried for some seal photos too. We visited Duart Castle which was
underwhelming at best! We are now on the road to the Corran ferry which
drops us into the 'vastness, the vastness'!' We have booked a nice
looking bed and breakfast for the night

The Isle of Mull is a tranquil and beautiful place. Many shops
operate on an honesty system which reflects the lifestyle here.
