July 1A Romeo Tour A morning visit with 2 other former school/university friends of Jon's, Neil and Suzi who live in Romeo before being taken on a town and surrounds tour with Gary & Margie, past more lovely historic houses, some sport grounds and great little parks which Gary, during his many years as Town Supervisor ( Mayor with a $1million budget) was involved in setting up before heading out to Ray County, a rural area some 8 miles ...
... and now fully awake, sleep will evade me for some time yet again and so to read myself back to sleep grateful that light will not disturb my Jon.So in the morning I ask Margie who tells me it was a severe storm warning (lightening, hail, damaging winds) and indeed there were leaves and twigs on the lawn and a very large gazebo/canopy over the back patio blew several meters and flipped right upside down. It required 5 adults to right it.
... and would do it again if there weren't so many other places to explore.

... Huron waterway which goes directly into Lake Huron. It was and still is a beautiful/sunny day. Did a little grocery shopping to stock up with some goodies. We took some pictures of our campsite --- it's pretty fancy --- our own gas grill, patio set, fire pit on a paved/brick surface. We are definitely loving this ...
... of the Blue Water Bridge - think we'll move there on Saturday.
Friday was a really fun day - we met my old friends Penny & Dave in Sarnia, Ontario, for their ParrotHeads' PHlock to the Dock event - a fun evening's cruise on the St. Clair River, with great music, a beautiful sunset, and the most amazing SuperMoon!
