    ... I was not a huge fan of since I don't think they properly understand the risks. I almost got dragged onstage a few times (meaning they twirl their fiery batons around you). Besides the usual acts people would also go onstage with a cigarette in their mouths that the fire performers would light. I sacrificed Joyce to be one of those people and she actually didn't find it to be scary at all (though she did say the fire is very very close to you). Later ...

The drive was really nice, we tried to take the shortcuts but it was difficult because we had to go around the bottom of the island and then up to the middle to drive back town another tip of the island.     ... end of the day, I ended up sitting in the restaurant to get some relief. It was a long day trip, not returning to the hotel till around 6pm. Ko Phi Phi is highly recommended by me but if you have the time and money, I'd stay there for a couple of nights as it does take a 6 hour return journey to and from Patong to get there.     ... than that the fish were the same as everywhere else we had snorkelled, angel fish etc, I'm not bored of it yet as it still scares me so I want to do it as much as possible to hopefully get rid of any fear left.
