... seemed well travelled but was only on a two week flying tour this time. Paul and Tracey were escaping the Christmas madness for a few weeks before they too had to go back home.

Carl set off again and this time we headed for a small private beach on a deserted island.

Only to find another boat had set up there. Never-mind, they didn't stay very long and we had the beach to ourselves then. We had the option to take the boat to ...

This is quieter than the main beach of Cenang which is preferable in one way but there is a downside... When we first set foot on the beautiful golden sand, within seconds our eyes were drawn to a ghastly strip of rubbish that ran the entire width of the beach. We later ...

... off and have breakfast, everyone had contributed to bringing or making food and a feast was laid out in front of us which was delicious. We had great fun sitting chatting away with great company although a while later the wind started to whip up and we decided to change location. So the anchor was hoisted up and we went cruising round other islands for a more sheltered spot.

We watched local fishermen and the eagles swooping around and found another ...
