hi all,
just have to show you these pictures. I have seen this hairdresser a few times but was reluctant to ask if I can take some pictures. Today I did. The old man so so kind and gentle about it that i thought i had to drum up some clients for him. Paul was closest at hand. Just look at how old and peeling , not just the paint but even the plaster. It must be so old. Even his clothes were in tatters but he did a great job. ...

... in ages. There are loads of poms and Dutch people everywhere. We took the bus into the town of Faro. Lovely seaside town with loads of character. Had a ride around town on a small train. Feeling better today, though apparently the Portuguese don't have siesta time. Though I did manage to squeeze one in. Had fish and chips on the beach with a jug of sangria while enjoying the sunset. It is a tough life but someone has to do it. ...

Bus to faro then stayed overnight before picking up car. It was very quiet when we got there and just felt dirty, graffiti on the walls everywhere and ruined buildings.people wanting money for finding car parks, asking if we spoke English. Nick looks German so all good. Drinks looking over the marina and very low tide estuary/lagoon. Lots of other tourists enjoying the sunset but rest of place seemed empty.Dinner ...

What a mixed bunch the last two? three? weeks has been! Sorry I have not been writing. I finally figures some of the photo stuff but it has take me the whole day. Sorry I cant seem to place them in the right spot and them take ages to load with our slow internet. But it is a start.
