Suddenly from the corner of my I spot a creature like a giant rat coming straight for my chicken! I instinctively grab my guitar and use it to ward off the attacker.

No it's not a rat--it's a racoon! And he will not take no for an answer. As much as I think raccoons are cool, I'm not sharing my chicken. Thankfully the owner of the pet raccoon finally comes to my rescue.

... on the nose early so we motored half way before even putting out the Genoa and with being in no rush merrily plodded along 5 knots. The scenery here is superb and the weather is also being extra kind at the minute. We reached Albufiera around 2pm and checked in for 3 days to have a little break - it's still expensive €51 a night but we're taking it as a holiday. After getting up early this morning and not a lot that needed immediate attention we opted for a chill out day today. Firstly we walked up the hill to the supermarket for groceries once more then after bringing them back to the boat we ventured to the next anchorage along at Baleeira, we were both glad we chose Sagres over it last night.
