... off immediately, as we had much to see and little time before the sun went down. Needless to say, after all we have seen on our travels, this might be the most picturesque place we have visited. Brugge was a prosperous medieval town back in the day, until the port "dried up" and everyone moved to Antwerp, leaving the city empty and untouched, and a mirror image (with some restoration of course) of what it is today.
