Day of Departure

... us was quiet for the majority of the trip. Actually the frat party at the back of the plane was the most annoying. 10 or so young adults standing and sitting on their chairs, loitering in large groups near the emergency exit at the back. Feel like an old person having a moan! Watched Bad Neighbours whilst flying, very funny!!!

So on arrival into LAX, it was a massive long transit through Border Control (Steven didn't know they'd take fingerprint and photos of you) ...

We were unsure what standard of service and food to expect on the flight to Beijing, but were prepared to rough it! Actually, they were both better than expected, and we had a pleasant enough flight. As I was down for a special meal, I got my food early and even had samosas for breakfast!

There was some dispute about the seat arrangements but Lily enjoyed her window seat, eventually:
