      If you read my blog about hiking across Isle Royale last year, you'll be surprised to learn I am doing it again. This time alone. I'm taking a different route this time, straight across the island on the Greenstone Ridge trail, which is not nearly as arduous as last year's trek. But to make it harder, after I reach the far side of the island, I'll meet up with Julie, and we'll hike five more days together.
