(the average weekly wage was $1) We had such a good day at the village and are so pleased we decided to extend our holiday here and not rush to see all the Henry Ford exhibitions in one day. Tomorrow we fly to Las Vegas (oh yes I hear you say .... Sally wants to try the pokies again) and we meet up with Janice and Roy again. The weather is warming up .... Expected to be in low 30's in Vegas and around 30's in LA so we are getting ready for our warm return to Perth ...

    ... and Marla ended up napping for a good 2-3 hours (I like to imagine in a big pile, like puppies) while I read and napped on my favorite couch outside on the patio. We went out for dinner to a new Mexican restaurant in Ypsilanti (the town between Willis and Ann Arbor) and the following morning, after double- and triple-checking everywhere on the farm for my possessions, I bid the Keenes farewell and hit the road.
