They took me to my new favorite museum which is what I am writing this post about :) Newseum is a museum located in DC which focuses on news and journalism. It was right up my alley. Unfortunately, it is one of the few museums you have to pay an entrance fee for, but the ticket is good for two days- which makes the deal pretty good! There was not a ...

... choosing Starbucks! The coffee was drinkable but the food defies description! Suffice it to say that I will starve before I go back again!
We drove into Philadelphia and parked by the magnificent Museum building where the Rocky steps are. We all "ran" up them and had a good stretch of the legs all around the lovely grounds. We drove in to the centre to look at the Liberty Bell - that was an underwhelming experience. It is inside a glass building with lines ...

        Bye for now

... a competition of over 1400 designs and it was spectacular. The stone was reflective and on each panel was the names of those who died listed in order of the dates they died not alphabetically. It was done this way so that when looking the huge number of names you were also staring back at yourself. The first names also started on the middle near the binding of the "book" with the names of those who died last on the other side of the book binding so they were side by ...

... and great to see in the flesh. This evening we went to Barcelona for dinner, we were recognized by the waiters as soon as we got there and we had one of our must enjoyable evenings yet. The food was superb and the service was outstanding. We were there for hours and had such a great time. At the end of the night, the manager gave us our cheque and he had wiped at least half of our bill!!! They were all such nice people and it was a nice experience!
