... reason is simply to experience more of this beautiful world and to visit a few more cultures within our amazingly diverse global community. I did not have as many opportunities to travel when I was younger and frankly did not have any discernible wanderlust, but as I continued my education I was more and more fascinated by the pace at which the world was truly becoming a global marketplace, if not yet a global village. It only took one trip to Asia to be enchanted by the depth and beauty ...

Here you can find articles such as Dillinger's death mask , Robert Hanssen's Palm Pilot, Unabomber's Manifesto, debris recovered for the Oklahoma City bombing and some of the firearms used to raid Koresh's complex in Waco. Of particular interest to DC natives, was the trunk of the car used by the DC snipers. Contrary to the advice ...
Washington DC, District of Columbia, United States ndsquirrel... to the Madison ave address, and may we recommend to anybody ever in New York, go to this street for many high end lines, minus the crowds of people. We found, we saw, we swooned over the gorgeous shoes and left. After packing all stuff we made our way across the street and onto an AMTRAK train bound for Washington D.C The train ride to Washington took 3.5 hours, spent looking at trees without leaves, and watching a movie on the laptop. Back in Frederick, we went to the Cracker Barrel for dinner and shared a dessert. Afterward, we said our good-byes to Cindy and Lisa spent the night with us at Lauren's home. Lisa and I got a good walk in that night. She was a great walking partner as we kept pace in both stride and conversation.

I have been doing a lot of networking for contacts for jobs, and I'm on several online babysitting sites. Possible jobs include: babysitting part-time and one-time jobs, no more than one regular cleaning job, pet-sitting, bartending/cocktail waitress. I also have ...
Columbia, Maryland, United States dkg2002It's strange being back in civilisation, especially one where most people speak a language I sort of understand and everything you could possibly want - and a lot more you don't - is available 24/7. Having spent several years living here I knew what to expect but it still comes as a little bit of a shock: buy this, buy that, buy both, buy more. Eat this, eat that, eat both, eat more. Then buy ...
Washington DC, Baltimore and the other O.C., United States dazzla... I just wanted to sit down, stretch it out, and not move. Fortunately, at about 2 p.m. when we got to the condo resort, our condo was ready. I was holding several Wendy's napkins against my knee to catch all the flowing blood and limping pretty significantly. We got everything into the condo , and I was finally examining the actual cut - and from what I could see through all the blood, it looked pretty deep, if not that large a cut. Larry said that if ...
Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawaii, United States golfmobileHappy Thanksgiving to those Americans at heart.... Spent Thanksgiving at Poncos Mountain - 1.5 hours drive from Philadelphia with Mike Canfield and his family. I had a wonderful time and sure enough a feast was to be found! First time I have tried pumpkin pie and pumpkin cake and am all pumpkin out. The highlight of my day was feeding the local deers apples. They are not afraid of people and are quite happy to come close to say hello.

I once met a man from Nantucket Who carried a plump goose in a bucket When it came time for a feast He chose fowl over beast But didn't know how to pluck it. Charles L. Fields August 24, 2006
Gloucester, Massachusetts, United States cjstudio... bus ride down to DC, for example, both the French and Spanish kids were packed on the same Greyhound. The Spanish kids could not stop talking, singing, laughing, and even dancing on the bus.... not even when it was midnight and we were on the way home. I joined in with Marta clapping and singing traditional flamenco music while the French students yelled at us to shut up in the back of the bus. We ignored them, and I learned a great ...
