We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.

We started the next day with an early morning breakfast at Eat'nPark with our PA friends. After breakfast, we went to see my Dad and grand parents' graves, and then we hit the road.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.

Opting for the back roads, I stayed on Route 30 heading across ...

... was up to Lake Erie near Cleveland, along the lakeshore to Erie, p PA, then south through Pittsburgh. I am now on a rail trail route of 300+ miles to Wash. DC. I had the pleasure of riding with Steve, a teacher from Columbus for an afternoon and morning, sharing a campsite in between. It was nice to share some stories and learn about life and the education system in Ohio.It was reassuring ...

... performance of the Harlem Shake!!! (Featuring Andrew's spectacular juggling skills!) Oh, and tonight was taco night too, so...pretty much win-win. Now we are off for a special prayer walk through the community complete with another special reflection activity once we return back to the site called "Malaysian Prayer". Wish us luck for the rest of the evening, and as we continue the week. We are excited to see and get to know the kids better as the week ...
