    ... and speciality stores. We did call in to bar in the vicinity where the barmaid insisted we take two glasses to remind us of our visit to Richmond. That evening we found a lovely place called the Franklin Inn with some tables outside, it was a balmy evening after some afternoon rain and was most enjoyable.     Breakfast was pretty good, there was even fruit and yogurt, scrambled egg and juice, toast and pastries. It's still hard to believe how cheap this place is! We left shortly after breakfast and headed for downtown Richmond, via Monument Avenue. This is an amazing road with with typical American style Georgian homes, with a rocking chair or seat on their grand front verandas.
