... was thankfully uneventful and ended with marvelous company of our friends Gauri and Raju (thansk!).
We had a wonderful time reminiscing, had a delicious home cooked meal and saw the most beautiful sunset over the pacifiic!
As i remind my kids, this is the first time my vacation has started a day sooner than theirs and will last as long, perhaps a day longer than theirs!

AZ Hot ...
... tailgating and eating breakfast, a man who parked beside us asked us if the truck was our home! Ha! Kind of surprised both of us, but that is how a lot of people roll here so I guess it wasn't unusual for him to see people living out of their vehicle. We just kind of laughed and told him about our road trip.

All in all, we've had a busy few days in San Diego! Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to explore too much while being here but we've still had fun!
Have packed up and are set for an early departure tomorrow, we're picking up our car and taking a two day drive up the coast to San Francisco.
Will check back in when we have arrived!
p.s - will post pics in a couple of days once I have loaded onto the computer
... of the 1st quarters. Mind you we were in traffic for 1-1/2 hours to go 1/4 mile to park. And mind you also there were ZERO Chargers fans in that traffic which means they knew to come early to avoid the mayhem that the visiting teams would have to encounter). By I digressed...all the walking and then walking past people who were smoking and people tailgating with charcoal fumes and all I had was my rescue ...
A short entry today, not that exciting... We had a lovely Starbucks for breakfast before crossing the border into californiaaaaaa! We arrived at the campsite and after setting up headed out for some yummy Mexican food, then went to a bar next door where a very Californian band were playing.. They were cool though, for a couple of the songs one of the guys played keyboard off his iPhone plugged into the speakers, and there were some very over the top dance ...
