... my number was called, showed my forms, and was handed a license plate. Success!

My fellow Davenporter had much, much worse luck. He got a different lady to start with who took one look at him, and clearly decided he was not fit to register a car. Without going into detail, he spent 3 hours at the DMV and still can't drive his GTI...We had to go back to the dealer in Queens to solve this issue, but that was a Saturday job.

Well that's it, the end of my first (shortened, thanks to George and Abe) week of work. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my work, so that is good.

Tuesday was orientation, where I had to sign a slew of forms to prove that I had been shown all relevant information regarding my rights as an employee. I remember every word of everything I signed, and will never come to regret any of it I'm sure.
