    A little more New Orleans

A travel blog entry by akgraff on Jul 07, 2015

... food available to try here!! After the scale wincing stop, we headed back to Bourbon street and found a REALLY fun piano bar. The evening was filled with good drink and lots of music requests. After enough liquid courage, I requested an Elvis song and we danced in front of everyone! New Orleans!

Before leaving Memphis, we needed to do laundry... badly! While waiting for the washing machines to finish, we found a Ms. Pac-man game and I got to witness Tami's video game skills! She's met our family dog (which up to now has been the most traumatic event). In her country, dogs are more commonly on the menu than running loose in your home. After climbing Jim and refusing to put her feet on the ground, we finally got her to calm down enough to ...

    ... on Jan 16!

God has been so faithful in this process. Every milestone we have prayed for has been answered and in such a timely manner! So, our new prayer request is for Mia. Usually kids that are in foster care (and she has been with a family for 8 years) are taken to the orphanage a few weeks before they are adopted. I think the thought is that the transition to their new family will be easier if they've already been separated from ...
