Her latest American phrase to pick up is "You're kidding me!". Last week, Jim was teasing her and she said, "Mom, tell dad to stop".   That's pretty darn good English in my books. She has learned to swim, she's been willing to try any new foods we've offered her (and with chef Jim that's something new ...

... to ride in a Barbie car..every meal is a first time she's tried something new. She's met her grandparents and her great grandmother. She's met our family dog (which up to now has been the most traumatic event). In her country, dogs are more commonly on the menu than running loose in your home.
