    ... cottage I rented in Vermont is owned by a couple of artists (painter and sculptor) and they've built their own little slice of heaven up on top of a hill overlooking the Passumpic River valley.     ... crepes (Lamb Merguez sausage...yum).

    Cate and I then took our combined 3 dogs (Stormy, Cinnamon and Addie) for a beautiful hike in a local conservation area. Stormy, the fierce Chihuahua, did his level best to put Addie in her place, attempts which were mostly ignored. A good time was had by all.

    Tomorrow I visit WEBS, the yarn mecca in this neck of the woods, then we head east and south towards Mystic, CT.

    A Visit to Salem

    Fun day! LaureAnn and I drove over to Salem, Massachusetts for all things witchy! What a beautiful day. the drive was wonderful - lots of great conversation, story swapping, beautiful scenery, and then Salem itself.

    We walked around, visited a couple of the sites, one being the only structure left from the witch trial period. That is the home of Judge Corwin.

    OK, a lot behind. Instead of going back and writing about each day I am going to try to just play catch up!
