This weekend coming up is a long weekend so for Saturday and Sunday Rebecca, her kids (3) and I are going camping to the Palu Duro Canyon State Park up near Amarillo and on going to check out Dallas on Monday. Next Tuesday I'm hoping to hire a car, maybe even a Mustang, and head down to Austin and the Texas Hills wine region. And so far its been sitting around 38 degrees each day :)

American Airlines nearly ruins my trip....my original flight which was supposed to leave at 10:10am never leaves the ground....at 11:45am...AA has another flight bound for Tokyo and because I have carry-on luggage only, I'm allowed to board the flight and make it to Tokyo with 40 minutes to change planes and airlines ( Japan Air, they rock!!) . American Airlines...never again you *******s.

In Dallas we found our connecting gate and grabbed some food. It is a good thing we did as
there was no food served on the flight to Miami. I made a couple of shots from the plane as we approached DFW.
