Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.

It's hard to make changes in life, but sometimes a change is necessary in order to get to where you're going.

Excited to get to Cape Town, although I have a lot of travel time ahead of me!

... as part of the nautical theme at Expo 67 which was on islands in the St. Lawrence Seaway. The ship was taken to Quebec City and might have been used as a casino there or in Montreal for a while before going out of business. It was then towed down to it's present location (Jordan Harbor) with plans to fix it up and use it with a nearby restaurant. Before that got underway, it was burned (apparently arson) and has been abandoned since and is slowly ...
