... million dollar homes. There are also lots of gated communities with fancy dancy entrances - think mini Vegas! We had a very pleasant stroll around the shops & wondered how all the restaurants could ever make it. Well after watching sunset at the beach we drove back along 5th Avenue to marvel at all the full restaurants that were empty only 2 hours before.
... a bird watcher or enjoy hiking the outdoors immersed with the wildlife, I highly recommend Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and (if you want close encounters with Alligators) the Bird Rookery Swamp Management Area. Our outings to Lovers Key State Park and Calusa Heritage Trail were also very enjoyable.

... toured the campus which is beautiful and uniquely Floridian in that, besides the Science, Engineering and Arts faculties, it comes complete with its own beach front property. A very pleasant Sunday night dinner of Italian take-out was followed by a lazy evening of conversation and of course John and Pat getting ready for their cruise.
