After leaving the mansion, you go back across the road and that is souvenir city. Elvis is certainly big business in Memphis! We have spent the largest part of the day here and it was very interesting. He was a remarkable man who certainly changed the face of music forever. We also stopped in Texarkana, which was Texas and Arkansas combined since it was on the border. We watched A Time To Kill to get us in the mind of the civil rights movement. ... breaks which came at stops about every 2 hours. She proceeded to tell me about her life and how she has a 17 old child in New Orleans that lives with her mum, whom she doesn't get on with, because she had been in and out of prison. Someone must have been listening to me as we arrived into Memphis at 9.40pm, some ...
