... are faded in the sun and the interiors look like what they are - relics from the 70s. The mansion on the other hand is a fabulous combination of 70s kitsch (green shag pile carpet, and that's just the ceiling!) and elegant rooms. Only the ground floor and basement are open to visitors - apparently Lisa Marie still uses the house when in Memphis. Sue felt a sadness about the whole place, despite its opulence. Such a waste of great talent in Elvis's early passing.

From there we drove up to Hoosier State Forest in Indiana. This time we paid for a campground. It was awesome. A completely empty forest campground that cost $4 in total!
