We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! Lodge) We learned that all the hotels were booked due to a big conference in downtown Denver so we were happy we made our reservations in advance! It was late and I worried my parents were overtired but other than that the day was a great success and we enjoyed our Colorado

I raced to eat dinner and run through my departure checklists, dashing out the door at 7:53 and walking to Metro Center to catch an Orange Line train to West Falls Church. There I boarded the 8:45 Washington Flyer bus to IAD, arriving at 9:05.
