The goal of visiting Omaha was going to the supposed best zoo in the world. We arrived there at 10:30am and left at 4:15pm, shortly before they closed at 5pm. It's great having the GPS to navigate us around, and we had no issues getting there or back to the hotel. Firstly I think the zoo could be in the running for the best in the world, once their extensive construction is complete. There was a lot of construction, which really distracted from the experience. Holiday cheer and campaign excitement were in abundance at a beautiful event supporting Sid's campaign sponsored by Steve and Lynette Nabity, his neighbors in Elkhorn.
It was standing room only in the Nabity home as neighbors rallied to support one of their own in his bid for the U.S. Senate. The Nabitys were joined by 10 other couples in co-hosting the event.
