The bewildered tourists did as they were told and walked back to the other taxi with the new driver trying to sound reasonable as he explained that you just can't do that.     ... riding 5,000 miles through relative extremes of weather with nothing more than we could carry in three luggage cases, comes with a certain sense of accomplishment that we wouldn't have taken from driving it in a car. I'm sure there were times Charlene had it with me but we had a great time and made a fantastic memory. However, I'm not sure we will attempt a trip of this magnitude again.

    ... in heavy traffic to the hotel . . . we arrived, dropped the bags, and had some early, lighter supper in the "Tin Lizzy" . . . billed as a Neighborhood Speakeasy!!!

    This is an older building with a boutique hotel . . . it was hard to find anything reasonably priced, near the downtown area . . . so this was it . . . based on Trip Advisor . . . and crossed fingers . . . I think it is going ...
