... First stop was at Garrets's for popcorn. It smelled amazing and they said it's worth it (I know know since I broke into it!) we went for the Jumbo size of the Chicago mix (cheese and caramel mixed) and a caramel pecan. Delicious! The kids had to get used to so many people and moving fast! Crossing the street was "fun" at first, but they got used to it. We visited Millennium Park, and saw The Bean and the 1000 faces sculpture where the kids took ...

... a band play a few U2 and Tom Petty songs ( great job too) and visited the Bean again.
Shopping was also on the agenda with visits to the Bus tour shop to collect free T- shirt, to Maceys, a few shoe shops etc etc.
After shopping we jumped back on the bus as it visited went past the Art Institute., the Chicago Hilton, the Museum Campus before getting off at Navy Pier .

... to have skyscrapers, so the work of notable architects is on display everywhere. It's makes for an impressive skyline (when it's not behind fog) especially being on the shores of Lake Michigan. Also whilst it's got a strong sports culture this is balanced out by the strong Arts culture so there's are roundedness or maturity about the city that Melbourne lacks.
