      ...Moving on, now back on an Interstate, to Boise and a short but wonderful visit with my cousin Pam (Verbeck) Gallagher and her husband Bill. Bill makes guitars in his converted garage and they are beautiful. He has almost finished one (see pictures) and another is in process. Had a wonderful dinner and chance to catch up on family things.

      ... and figured we could finance a six month journey returning in December. When the big day in February rolled around (331 days before our return) I called Delta’s special Around The world department. Four hours later we had a plan!!!       ... Company. I thought it was going to be a huge store with displays and possibly a tour. I was wrong. It was basically a room with a few free samples and a two minute video in the corner playing on a loop. The store was really cute and the samples were generous so we had a good time even without a tour. The specialty of the candy store is a piece of candy called an Idaho Spud.
