      When shopping in a local grocery store, we realized the public here looks very different from the rest of Texas. Austin is a liberal island in conservative Texas, and the people seem very similar to San Francisco. Or, to make a President Obama joke: After Pecos, it was nice to be able to pay for arugula again.

      As mentioned in previous story, we covered a lot of ground in the twenty-six days. We got to go out and view the eagles in their nest twice while we were there.       First stop Barton Springs - a 1000 foot long natural springs swimming pool. They even have a section partitioned off for dogs - it was kinda funny watching the owners out swimming with their pets - some even had arm bands etc which was cool. We walked about the huge park - watching people playing sports, doing yoga and playing music
