I've been for a bit of a walk up the strip, it's pretty cool with heaps of mad people and there crazy cars, lights, gambling, drive through wedding chapels etc. but yeah my original thought was right, it's not really my thing, I just struggle with 'fun city's', I mean there is plenty of fun to be had but I always struggle with ignoring what goes on below that 'fun' level, like gambling addiction, homelessness, drug ...

... to do, like heading out and watching live country music, which I did. They do have the country music hall of fame and museum, but I think that's about it as far as those sort of attractions go. The fun is all happening on broadway street! It's full of western bar and grills with bands in them, some cover bands, some not, some just singers with a house band. its really cool though. ... strike and those big ones. All the old tobacco factories are still there and have been renovated into shops and offices, so the town still appears very authentic. Duke university is in the region which you may have herd of, they are massive for college basket ball. Once again however we were only there for 24hrs so we didn't see a lot. ... driving around taking photos of all the things with our name on it..For those of you that dont know, thats my maiden name...See photos attached. Will be going back through there again tomorrow. Tonight we are staying in a town called Greenwood about 22 miles North of McCormick..Because when I looked up hotels there were none listed for McCormick..lol That should tell you something about the town..anyway more of that tomorrow..Its Goodnite from me.

So this afternoon, Robin and Tim will drive me to Atlanta where I will check in to the Hilton at the airport. Wendy's flight gets in from Dallas at 12:30AM, then we plan to be back at the airport at 6:00AM. Flight leaves at 8:30, then we will have an 11 hour day in the air heading to Anchorage. We're so excited!
